Yesterday we - Browns - and Sophie Dahl hosted a wonderful lunch at Claridges to celebrate Tabitha Simmons's shoe collection at Browns. The exquisite afternoon kicked off with pre lunch drinks where a stylishly eclectic mix of guests - Jefferson Hack, Ben Elliot, Kim Hersov Bay Garnett, Sarah Harris from Vogue,Katie Grand and many more - chatted away, exchanged details and even good naturedly laughed at having similar style sensibilities - Kim Hersov and Bay Garnett inadvertently turned up rocking the same jacket. The main topic of conversation of course was surrounding the gorgeousness of Tabitha's shoes. There was a lot of oohing and aahing at the trunk show which took place straight after lunch at the Brook Street shoe store. Tons of extra styles were available on special order for one day only. Looking at the stunning collection, it was no wonder plenty of time - and money - was spent yesterday on a range Tabitha herself described as 'feminine, wearable and timeless' Couldn't have said it better myself.
