Have any of you seen It Happened One Night? I just recently watched and loved it. In some ways, it's very modern (the acting, the comedy...). I highly enjoyed it. :flower:

does anyone know any good website for watching classics online?

My favorite old movies are: Gone with the Wind (just my favorite movie anyway), To Catch a Thief, High Society, Sabrina, and Royal Wedding

Well here's a list of my old faves
Bonnie and Clyde not only is it a good film, but Faye Dunaways clothes in it are just to die for.
And God Created Woman directed by Roger Vadim and starring his then wife Brigitte Bardot this is a definite must see, Bardot is simply stunning in it.
Barbarella another Vadim film, it's so kitch, and will definitly make you laugh.

I must mention "Cactus Flower" (1969) with Ingrid Bergman,Goldie Hawn and Walter Matthau. This movie is so underrated - it's so funny, smart and with great actors and story.

Some more from my must-see list,it's hard to narrow out,but the first ones coming to my mind are

Gone with the Wind (1939)
Casablanca (1942)
Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961)

Die bitteren Tränen der Petra von Kant - Petra Kant's bitter tears - by Fassbinder

Breakfast at Tiffany's, Citizen Kane, Gone With The Wind, Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?, Rosemary's Baby and To Kill A Mockingbird. LOVE them!
