No doubt a comical tour de force, J.P. stylizes the beer-guzzlin', hi-fivin', football-lovin' man. Gracious enough to share his vision, it's obvious that he not only accepts that it truly "takes all kinds" but also realizes that you can always separate the men from the boys. How consistent is his view with your own?

Yet another sublime presentation realized by this true icon and master of modern culture. Almost exclusively from straight-forward, traditional, at times boxy men's tailoring, he builds a collection that ranks very high among the most empirically "male" offered to date from either Paris or Milan. Frankly, dear reader, you're Gaultier's witness to how even simple satire can blossom into gorgeous irony.

Either that or perhaps the show's meant to get you thinking...
"Do I really know what my man does after a few beers?"  8)

I liked a lot of these & can imagine a number of my male friends wearing them. (or at least 'recreating the look')

i like the cut of the suits in the first plate (very bohemian dandy) and most of the collection is very much of my liking, except those loose pieces like the t-shirts. and i have to admit i love the way JPG works the skirt on men. that 2nd pic on the last plate is :o

I thought the suits in the first plate were very ill-fitting, to be honest. And the beer was a disgusting addition. :? Plate two: what is with Mr. Furry Werewolf face in the orange bomber jacket? Plate three: cowlnecks are for ladies. Sorry.

:P The beer was crass, Catherine.

Before the show, they were passing beers around to those gathering to watch. :o Catherine Deneuve, seated in front (of course) in a full length something or other, respectfully declined.

:o Andora, I  the styling of this show. :D
And it was definitely the best-cast menswear presentation that I saw.
The hair was dressed with razor blades and those snappy silver metal barrettes :o . (I  those! )

Check it out:
:grrr: :grrr: 8)
