In my opinion This is why Oscar De La Renta is still around. He doesn't look to impress the press nor buyers. He just wants to make women feel chic without too many theatrics. Chi simplicity is what brings women to him for such beautiful collections. The continuous look that he has secures women that know they will always get what they expect. Hope this tradition lives on long after Oscar De La Renta himself is not designing for his own label.
