The thing about retro pin-up hair is that it's actually really easy to do, it just takes practice and the right tools. Invest in a tail comb, smoothing brush, and some shine spray plus lots of bobby pins. Hot rollers are also really great.
There are lots of tutorials online, or you could always find a stylist in your area and ask them to show you. I've seen quite a few on youtube.
