US Vogue has Beyoncé, British Vogue has Rihanna. let's go for the fight !
Need to see more of the cover story, but the cover is iconic!
I love Rihanna but I’m bored by this and I find it so underwhelming. She can pose and she enjoy fashion but this is dry and not aspirational at all.
A very dated idea of High Fashion and Edgy...
Like fashion for dummies. I even preferred what they did at Vogue Paris...
Lol! This cover is further proof that fashion is in desperate need of a well deserved break from Rihanna. How foolish must Edward be to think this will top the rest. Nick should've stayed in the shadows.
And actually, Harper's Bazaar China did this theme far more justice.
You don´t see the masthead logo of VOGUE, she does indeed looks very half asleep, the pose with the hands is weird, the sweater looks super cheap = NEXT !
And Madonna has VI, It's like a round of VOGUE mud wrestling between the three of them this month.
STUNNING! MARVELOUS! ICON! I love it, I’ll be buying several copies and spend way too much money on them in America!!
Like I said many of times. Rihanna out models the “top” models.
Very hyped about this simply because of Rihanna and Knight and the styling that doesn't look like it came out of a Zara catalogue. I love how the cover story looks so far, however the rest of the content looks dreadful. The forest, the beach, the grass, that one Versace look everyone styles the same way... we've seen it all before.
Rihanna and her superpower to be glamorous, vulgar and tacky in three different publications ... horrible
Wow she usually at least has an x factor, but how “out” of it does she look here?! Even in the ed she ain’t selling me nothin! Maybe it is time to tone down the covers, the colors are nice at least. And happy to have Knight back.
It's an amazing cover. Ya'll just hating.
Happy for Nick Knight too.
I love E V E R Y T H I N G about this
Is it just me or does her skin looks as if it’s been lightened? Beautiful though, just wish it wasn’t quite so geisha-y.
Of course it had been lightened. Or at the very least the makeup used is lighter.
She also did an Asian-influenced cover and shoot for Harper's Bazaar China and nobody flinched. Now had this been Karlie Kloss again and all hell would break loose.
Totally pointless cover. This magazine is nothing. And honestly, Princess Beatrice and Eugenie?!
I am living for this, honestly. This is the kind of cover that will catch everyone's attention in the newstands
Stunning cover, glad than Knight shot it for the biggest issue. Look foward to the editorials.
Agree Lola. Dated and dodgy!
Surprised it's not Meisel but so pleased to see Nick Knight do another British Vogue cover, it's been far too long. Couldn't say the same for Rihanna but I do actually really like this! She can pull it off like others can't
That cover might have been stunning, if they hadn't lightened her skin out of existence.
I'm not feeling the white face / Geisha chola look. or whatever they were going for.
The other two mages could have been from one of her Met Gala behind the scenes practice looks.
I love Rihanna, but the fashion industry's intense focus on her, as the go to black celebrity for covers is becoming cringey.
How about recognizing actual black models and different kinds of black beauty? Edward is a JOKE. If he was really interested in promoting black models in fashion, he would have put one on the September cover. That would have been exciting and revolutionary for British Vogue.
Tbh, I don't see much difference in what he's doing from Alexandra's reign.
