It does have that collector's quality, with all the minimal coverlines and angle of the shot, which is something new for Vogue Japan. And I think it's fitting for the career she had. Still don't care for her actual music though.
I agree, this must be the most beautiful Vogue Japan cover I've ever seen, although I have no idea who she is. The cropping, the angle, the b/w, the hat, her gaze, the minimal coverlines - everthing works perfectly together!
I'm actually quite fond of the cover, it's their best cover of the year so far. I also should have mentioned I'm glad to see Japanese/Asian figures on VJ for obvious reasons. Because when I see Namie its easy to figuring out why she's on the cover. LOL.
