haha...i VOTED...!!...
thanks scott...

:flower:

I just can't decide which one is better....

I love the Pieters and Wijnants...but somehow I like the quirkiness of the De Vos....hmmm

You're welcome :flower:

my vote went to something more 'subtle'...

;)

^well you know me.....anything visual and embellished!

hee hee...:p ...

can't believe no one did lace..!!!
i would have liked to see that...

:woot:

If Jurgi had done a design,I bet he would have....he was a lace addict... ;)

I'm actually surprised Bruno didn't do anything with his signature usage of damask/metallic brocades....that would have looked lovely!

thanks scott, i'll have a look and vote...

welcome to tfs, untitledhero!
we already had a thread on this, so i merged:flower:

hello anna karina,
great! and where was it posted?
what is also great is that from september 8th till 18th we will organise VITRINE again, which is together with an exhibition of this 1007 FASHION CONTEST. for VITRINE we asked belgian designers and students from antwerp fashion department to make an installation of thier latest collection in the antwerp city centre.
next to VITRINE there is also an agenda because a lot of events that the designers organise are also happening then
www.modenatie.com click on VITRINE
:-)

thanks for the news!
anything designer-related is usually posted in 'designers & collections' on top of the page. the member support and feedback is more for site related things ... suggestions, questions and complaints...:flower:

I tried to post this the other day but I was having problems for soem reasaon.
I really like Christian Wijnant's.

I only think 1 proposal is really original. The rest is not really inspiring actually quite boring - as well some of them look like they are made really poorly ......

Site

Another little issue - the vote site is quite nice actually, but what details is absolutely necessary to put? And what is the question they need an answer "How many people will attend to this contest ?"

yea, i don't quite understand what they mean by that question, and how on earth we're supposed to know...do they mean the 12 designers? or is it more complicated than that :S lol...

^I think what they mean is how many will participate in the vote/presentation...in other words,I think, your assesment of how successful the contest will be.

I agree the site doesn't exactly give the best look of how the cars are designed. Probably looks much different in person.

That would make the question the competition? Or

Well … it's a really nice contest and design collaboration. I just think it lacks a meaning (not necessarily deep, just looking for quality).
If you look closer at the images - you can more or less see how each designer has handcrafted their proposal. Some not very well ...

I think I like the same quirkiness as you ……..
^_^

^basically, that's what I assume. At least that's how the question come off to me??

Yeah some are very simple,so I do agree there's something lacking. I do think Wijnants did something more with it though than the rest.
