This 2000’s nostalgia is so not charming. The 2000’s were totally fabulous. But they were fabulous because culture was fabulous - great movies, star power, gorgeous magazines, iconic music, funky personal style, stunning models, etc. etc.
Take the tropes and signifiers and relics of that era’s style out of the context of that time and soullessly throw it on miserable models in a cold and unimaginative way…and this is what you get. It’s not cute and it’s not endearing.
There are items here that are nice, but who is this person? Who is the designer? What is his voice?? So tired of all this nonsense.
