Wonderful 1940's or early 1950's shirtwaist dress in a celadon green gabardine. The style of the dress is timeless, but it still has the look of the era - with a plain collar, half length cuffed sleeves, and pocket flaps over the bust and hips. The waist is cinched with a matching belt and the dress closes down the front with bit gab covered buttons. The dress is not lined. I believe the gabardine is cotton or rayon.
This is a nice Nelly Don 2 piece outfit, probably from the middle to late 1970s. The dress is a solid kelly green A-line style. It has a narrow keyhole opening and a lay back collar. The back closes with a long zipper. The jacket is kimono style, no closing with 3/4 length sleeves. The colors are a matching kelly green , red, brown and gold stripes. It is labeled Nelly Don Custom. The fabric is polyester, completely washable. The condition is excellent. This outfit has not seen much wear.

Fits closely at the front of the neck. Skirt is full from pleats in the waist. Dress is unlined. Dress is shown with a light crinoline under it, which is not included.

I Love this dress! It's the perfect Spring dress in a very pretty print of pastel flowers in white, pink, chartreuse, lavender and light blue on a yellow background. The bodice has darts on the front of the shoulders that open on the bust. There are 3 white buttons that have carved lines, painted gold and rhinestone centers. The skirt is full from pleats in the waist. Dress is unlined, has fabric loops for belt, but belt is missing. Dress is shown with a light crinoline under it, which is not included.

Super black cotton dress with hieroglyphic or Greek-like designs in white and dark blue. The dress has a close fitting neckline and seamless 3/4 length sleeves with darts on the elbows. There is a 1 inch fold of fabric across the top of the bust and over to the back of the arms. The skirt is almost a full circle. Metal zipper down the back, dress is unlined. Dress is shown with a crinoline under it, which is not included.
Nelly Don's answer to the wrap dress by Swirl....the "DONABOUT"! Blue cotton wrap dress in same style as a Swirl, wraps around back with one button at nape of neck. Sash comes through side opening, pulling around to tie with sash from other side creating a complete dress! Two tone skirt piped in royal blue. Tucks at neckline add a little detail to the bodice.
