2004 Golden Globe Awards

the sad thing is that melissa rivers' dress would look great on someone tall like nicole or maybe on someone like chloe.

but on her? it is too much, too long, and too overbearing for her body/hair.

Worst
1-Nicole Kidman
2-Cynthia Nixon (the hair, the dress, where to begin?)

oh...and uh, these two are my #3
 By the way, did anyone manage to find a picture of Maggie's outfit? Thanks... :flower:

Yeah, it reminds me a little bit of that Pucci halter dress Nicole wore once (at Cannes, I think?). Except that dress was way nicer.

Regarding Melissa's dress, I find that pattern awful....
and is it me, but does Joan look better than her daughter? ( said better, not good) ;)

uma and charlize and sharon and many others look wonderful

nicole's hair is really silly. i remember that dress in u.s. vogue and i guess i just loved it there!!! but i imagined that it would be fitted and tailored better when it was to be actually worn.....unfortunately, i was wrong. it really looked bad on nicoel tonight. too bad, but i'm sure she'll look amazing again next time.

repicking my favs:

uma

gwen

rofl. is it cold in Cali? I dont think so... but Joan seems to be channeling Greenland

did you know he left her for Claire Danes? :ninja:

Cate B. never dissapoints!
I like Ms Coppola's stylin' as well!
B)

Eeerrrmm... I was watching E! ..and Joan's getting senile ... she drifts constantly -from the conversation- ... all the celebs she interviewed where taking over the control of the interview and THEY were like "Aren't you gonna ask what am I wearing?"

she may have alzheimers, but she looks like she's thirty. Its like watching aging in reverse.

The show just ended now and I think all the winners deserved their awards. lele, Sophia didn't win Best Director, it was Peter Jackson. I think you mean Best Screenplay. :flower:

Nicole looked golden, IMO. The dress was perfect for her this year. Jennifer Aniston looked boring (Reminded me of her Oscar Lawrence Steel look). Cate Blanchett looked amazing (The dress itself was wonderful). The City girls all looked predictable. Uma looked bad, the fabric of the dress esp. Same for Charlize, gorgeous face, bad dress. Catherine Zeta-Jones, well... okay (Don't expect much from her). J.Lo was pretty  but a tad bit over bronzed esp. in the nose area when she presented, dress was okay for her. Britney Murphy, trying hard like Simpson. Sophia boring. Renee looked lovely, love the extra weight. Diane Keaton's outfit was awful.

I think JUDE looked the best...cuz he's gorgeous and I'm in love with him (eh who isn't...)   :P
After having gone through the show and the pictures, Uma was my favorite altogether... I think Charlize and Renee looked beautiful, but I didn't like their dresses very much... Maggie looked  as usual... I liked Nicole. It's certainly DIFFERENT but the way she carried herself in that dress made her glow...such poise. I thought she gave that dress life... didn't dig the hair, but she's an overall lovely person to watch. She doesn't let her clothes dominate her...IMO :innocent:
Least faves: again Maggie, that Patricia lady...I thought her dress looked like a shapeless and lifeless thing, and Sophia

I can agree with that. :flower:

Does anyone know who designed Jennifer Gardner's dress? It looks so familiar. Thanks in advance.

The bottom reminds me a bit of the Alexander McQueen Debra Messing wore last year. It's much nicer though, in my opinion. :flower:

The dresses seemed alright to me. Nothing really stood out. I sorta understand Nicole's pale dress looks but I think she sticks with what works for her...but I do wish she did breakout of her signature look and be more daring.
My fave was Kim Cattrell's look, I kept switching back and forth between the show and Sex and The City where she's losing her hair.
Charlize's look was nice but her dress looked too loose to me, same for Nicole's dress, especially in the front...too much boobage on everyone except for Mary Louise Parker's look (tsk tsk Billy Crudup). C. Ricci and B. Murphy looked pulled together.
I liked Diane Keaton's all white look. I found more bad dresses and overalls looks than anything else.
Starting with G. Stefani's hair:ick...she keeps it up and she'll have to wear wigs like C. Aguliera. J. LO. looked heavier and way too tanned. I mean it good she looks healthy but I think the tan takes away her curvy look.
I didnt like Nicole's hair..which I think she's done that style before or V. Paradis's drabby look along with oh so dreamy Johnny Depp..who I wish would just clean up for one night. Scarlet Johannsen was spilling out way too much and her hair was pinned too tightly I thought.
Did anyone see Holly Hunter? She looks like she had something doen on her eyes, she looked kinda weird.

:o

In all honestly, I thought Nicole looked ok, the outfit had a 20s flapper vibe to it - but Kate did it better. :innocent:

Speaking of 1920's vibes, has anybody seen a picture of Maggie G's dress?
