Ohh yes! Wait for the Hermes bag. I was just in Paris at the enormous Hermes store and have decided if you want to save up for a bag, that is the one. It's a timeless brand and will never go out of style.

And about the LV Cherries-- I saw them too and felt they were a bit over the top, but I did like the little wristlet, because I thought it was cute and not too much.

But have you noticed the attitude of women who carry fake LV bags? . They walk with such an air of confidence, as if that bag alone gave them class, distinction and glamour instantly!!!. They feel dressed up just with a bag, isn't it funny? And of course they tend to overlook their poorly bleached hair, plastic shoes, cheap makeup, chipped nails, overabundant 9carat jewellery... The same confidence their boyfriends show when they walk their pitbull terriers. Ugly!

Luckily Louis Vuitton are doing something about fakes, I get so angry when someone flaunts there fake Vuitton thinking I'm stupid enough to think its real...

I think the Cherry bag is horrible, I wouldnt even pay for a knockoff. Its like those ones with the flowers on it..whatever its called. I dont like it I think it makes it look cheap. Im sure it will be worth money in like 70 years but I think it looks cheap.
I think they should do something about the knockoffs too, They are going to get played out because everyone and their mom has it. Its good for those that are concerned with quality blah blah blah, but Im not gonna pay $1000 for a bag that the girl in line next to me is gonna have the exact same one for $50.00, the only difference is the texture!!

Okay guys, I have come to my senses for numerous reasons but mostly those concerning taste and decency that Cherry has got to go!!! I am definitely not going to get the bag. Everyone thinks it vomitworthy and I have to say it's cutness is wearing thin and turning to tacky fast. From the amount of Cherry stock left in the Vuitton outlets here it's apparent that the general public aren't too keen on them either!

My mom actually gave me a cherry speedy 25 for my bday last march, at first, I was really excited about it, but after toting it twice already, I started to get tired of it..

I am also saving up for my ultimate dream bag - hermes birkin 30cm (since im petite). I called hermes boutique in Montreal and they have 1 cognac 30cm birkin w/ palladium hardware available and 1 ostrich birkin - I wanted to buy that Birkin when the Sa told me that she has 1 available, to think that I didn't have to wait for months or even years, but then again i passed - I wanted to get it in black.

I was in Amsterdam just recently, and passed by the LV store there. Various models from the cherry collection were displayed at the shopwindow. I was surprised to hear the comments of passers-by. Most people thought the cherry over the top and cheap. In fact, I did not hear any positive reaction.

Later on we went to a very posh brasserie and I spotted many (gorgeous) Gucci bags and no Vuittons.

Hi Glamcouture - I have the Birkin 30 in black with Palladium hardware - it is the best bag ever. I think you should put your name down for the black if that's what you really want - the waitlist time can be surprisingly short!

Back to the Cherry - yes, my LV sa called me on April 1st (no joke!) and told me that my bag had come in but I turned it down.

Hi grill the SA at hermes montreal told me that i will have the bag 100%, she didn't specify the waiting period but then again assured me that once they have 1, she will call me

ok im not sure where to post my question but here it is.. i was on the lv site today and looking through the new spring 05 collections and theres the denim collection, the cherries, and i saw a pink bag with silver monogram? any idea what collection that is and pricing?

OMG the other day I saw a Denim Monogram bag...Holy crap, it is atrocious. It was being carried by this woman that was at least 70 years old.

Might I add, my sister bought this bag. She said she wanted it because she saw the Monogram Cerises in Vogue...I nearly cried.
