Phillip Lim for the accessories award! That man deserves it and has been on a roll with how his business is doing. Fantastic pieces at fantastic price points :D

Aren't the Womenswear and the Accessory Designer award nominees the exact same every year? Yeah I agree with LagerfeldBoy, 3.1. Phillip Lim accessories are outstanding, he deserves that one. Not the ideal moment to give an award to Riccardo Tisci, imo, I feel like he's stuck in a rut and hasn't delivered a decent collection in a while.

If Michael Bastian wins menswear, I will slap a geese mother.

Why they just didn't give Ryan Gosling the Style Icon award and call it a day?

Alexander Wang will no doubt win the Womenswear award after the year and rightly so.

I agree with Psylocke on Riccardo Tisci, but although his collections are a repetition but however they are a hit with the stores/customers.

And I agree with Philip Lim being the right candidate for the Accessories award.

Let's do a pool..

Marc Jacobs being nominated for anything at this point is such a joke to me. He's not a bad designer, but he's already shown us all he can do. He's not bringing anything new or exciting to the table, so I wish they would stop kissing his a** every year & nominate someone else for a change.

Out of the 3 womenswear nominees, the Proenza Schouler boys deserve it the most. I feel like Alexander Wang's nomination is more of a justification for his promotion at Balenciaga earlier in the year year. And agree re: Marc Jacobs.

Is it just me or is it always the same nominees when it comes to the womenswear award?

Agreed, zZzzZZZzz, same old names. The jewelry category is LOL, Pamela Love is still popular? Why? :ninja:

Pamela Love is still popular because that style is still in the fashion community. I see her pieces all the time!

i agree, i've never been really a fan of Proenza Schouler but their latest collection was truly outstanding.. they definitely deserve to win this time :flower:

Steven & Daniel did a great job and one of the highlight of NYFW menswear so I hope they win although I think Thom will get it...
For the Swarovski, I hope Tim Coppens win. I want his entire fall collection
