2017 Golden Globes Awards

#9 Sophie Turner - it looked interesting but good in the motion! finally Louis Vuitton looks great on the red carpet!
#8 Louise Roe - simple, but sexy and still right for the night and event.
#7 Naomi Campbell - walking goddess in Versace! Also I like she almost didnt use any jewerly. And, oh, that supergood makeup!
#6 Gillian Anderson - I love how it could look like wedding dress but its NOT!
#5 Zoe Saldana - beautiful, fun and young Gucci dress. At least not circus.
#4 Emily Ratajkowski - stunning! I think she looked super sexy but not pornoghraphic! Love the hair and makeup! Also not super boring and safe!
#3 Emma Stone - I love how she plays (I mean her stylist) with her color type and it works! Everything looks so elegant and classy and so Hollywood!
#2 Mandy Moore - dark but it was not boring just beautiful!
#1 Evan Rachel Wood -oh I love that Marelene style! She looked very classy and beautiful! And stayed true to her style!

Sienna Miller - oh my god! How its even possible to make look Sienna that boring and blank? That pearl is a great example how dangereous it could be.
Michelle Williams - her face is amazing! She is so beautiful and young. And the dress looked not that bad in the motion but maybe too childish with that bow choker for that big red carpet?
I realized that I hate Prada on the red carpets. I dont know. It always doesnt work for me.
Sara Jessica Parker. I liked that it was so conceptual but it was TOO conceptual.

when emrata is best dressed... really most of the others are quite safe dresses and don't look like 2017 looks

Everyone looked so safe and boring this year.

Best Dressed: Emma Stone, Ruth Negga, Thandie Newton & Riley Keough.

Every year we complain about how boring everyone looks at awards shows  Seriously, if you look at past threads, it's what we all say every year :P

It's still true though :D

I thought the best dressed of the night were:

  • Ruth Negga in Louis Vuitton - This was delightful, especially because I was shocked to finally a see Louis Vuitton dress that's beautiful! They do them so rarely (I don't think there's been any on the red carpet since Alicia Vikander wore a great LV dress to the Screen Actor's Guild Awards). Poor Michelle Williams must have been crushed, when they essentially handed her that depressing little-house-on-the-prairie-travesty.

  • Caitriona Balfe in Delpozo - She looked amazing. An ideal dress for her and something fresh and different amid the sea of frills, chiffon and sequins.

  • Emma Stone in Valentino Couture - Excellent choice. At first I wished she had gone with a bolder colour. But despite being pale, the dress was beautiful and looked great on her. It also worked beautifully as a nod to the film and the event.

  • Natalie Portman in Prada. Some said it looked like Jackie-drag but that Prada was perfect for her, possibly the best maternity dress ever seen on a red carpet, and an excellent homage to the film she's been nominated for.

Thandie Newton, Brie Larson, Viola Davis, Claire Foy, Lily Collins and Evan Rachel Wood all looked reasonably nice. Almost everyone else was dull or wearing a hideous dress.

Nicole Kidman looked insane but fun. I liked it :ninja: :flower:
