i think mischa is looking quite thin as well, or maybe its just the dress. i know she has a thin frame normally but she looks tiny around the waist!

She's lucky with her body type, though. She's very thin on top, but she has really prominant hips and thighs. However, her body type (long torso, thin upper) allows her to find ways to very well camoflague the fact that she has quite the hips and thighs. Mostly you don't notice it until you see her on vacation in bikinis...and then it's really evident.

i absolutely looove natalie portman's chloe dress. it suits her prefectly and her hair, makeup and jewellery complemented it well. she looked stunning!

IMHO Halle Berry was the best looking female at the Golden Globes.

And I Prince, Mick Jagger and Jim Carrey...Jim didn't win but it's his 43. birthday today! Congratulations!

My favorites were:

Nicole Kidman/Charlize Theron-I prefer Nicole's, but these dresses were very similar. Is Nicole going to be invited to every awards show for the next 20 years even if she isn't nominated? If so, I don't mind.

Mischa Barton-I cought this one on TV and thought she looked stunning, face, dress, everything.

Jennifer Garner-Predictable, but pretty.

Uma Thurman-That dress looks comfortable and I like it a lot.

Kate Hudson-Very pretty.

Leonardo Dicaprio-I only tuned in to this show torwards the end because I wanted to see him win and I think he really did deserve it. He's a great actor if you get past the Titanic-supermodel-party life and look at some of his work. Oh, and he was well-dressed.


All those Desperate Housewives make me sick. And Jamie Fox's Halle Berry speech was kind of strange, but good that he won. We own In Living Color season 1 on DVD and I think that is some of his best work. Its good that he and Jim Carrey could go on to win big things after that. And wierd.

My top three fave for the night had to be Uma, Nicole and Jennifer Garner.
Emmy rossum dresses the best for her age ,but she should have not gotten a nomination for her role in Phantom. To the untrained ear she sounds fab, but ask anyone who's done opera voice lessons or is very familiar with opera, Emmy's voice was NOT good, she couldn't hit many of the high notes with the same force and it's just not mature enough yet and her acting was so daft. but the dress looked amazing.
