^it's been a huge part of their world since they started. their house is even filled with antique hospital/medical cupboards, desks and beds.

^yup that was the antwerp location from december-march(have loads of piccies on another thread in shop til you drop)....now they've moved the location to the sleepy but uber-cool coastal city of knokke-zoute.

btw,i will see if i can one of the mods to change the thread for a more general one as i want to get some images up from the aktionII and also there are other locations being planned as well.

    Done!
runner, I brought your pictures 'home', hope you don't mind!.

Great concept.. apart from the wit of the design, there's something that just inspires so much solemnity in that same way a hospital really does, aside from loving A.F., I would probably want to buy these suits just to take care of them and provide them a healthier and happy life.:heart:

I don't think fashion would be the same without these guys. They are still a duo-team are they not?
Their liking for the medical has always been interesting for me, I wonder where they got it from. Either way, a clinic is definitely an interesting way to present fashion.
I think hospital and disease is a taboo that fashion hasn't really explored thoroughly lol

^yes they are still together although an v. has taken more of the design role whilst filip is doing the business side.

regarding the hospital thing...i remember numerous times in interviews they explaining how deep of a love affair they have with uniforms. not only hospitals but also military & ecclesiastic. stating it's the simplicity and the strong imagery that often is married with them. hospitals, red cross and all that entails....it's very fascinating.
