Pregnant Kristen Bell's Sexy Scenes With Adam Brody in House of Lies: "A Little Awkward

Kristen Bell's pregnancy isn't slowing her down—even when she had to shoot some sexy scenes on House of Lies.
The mom-to-be gets steamy in the next few episodes with Adam Brody, who guest stars as the owner of an adult toy company.
"She was very pregnant," Brody told me while promoting his indie drama, Some Girl(s), at SXSW. "I like to say it was sort of a three-person scene."

"If it wasn't Kristen, it would have been incredibly awkward," he continued. "Well, it was still a little awkward, but she's just such a warm and open friendly person."
Speaking of getting frisky and very adult themes on screen, in Lovelace, Brody plays Linda Lovelace's costar in the p*rn classic Deep Throat.
"The movie is erotic in nature," the O.C. alum said of the film (Amanda Seyfried stars as the late Lovelace), "But my stuff I almost liken it to American Pie. It's kind of so comical because we're filming the p*rn within the movie. I wasn't too bashful and I don't have to close my eyes watching it."

In Some Girl(s), an adaption of the Neil LaBute play of the same name, Brody plays a man on the verge of getting married who decides to take a cross-country trip to make amends with a slew of his ex-girlfriends (Bell, Jennifer Morrison, Mia Maestro, Emily Watson and Zoe Kazan).
"I definitely tried to like him and understand him and present his side of things," Brody said. "But I think at the end of the day, he's morally bankrupt."
And nothing like him.
"I have really good relationships with all my exes," Brody said. "So I can't totally relate to this trail of havoc he's created."
Hopefully, Leighton Meester will never have to find that out for herself.
