Added Extras and Promotional Materials

Or promotional material or whatever you wanna call it .

I thought it'd be nice to see the various 'added extras' as released by some designers to further promote themselves and their label or to give as gifts to their clients, the press, etc (which is still, in a sense, further promoting themselves) .

Okay, here's an example:

The Dries postcards are beautiful titania, do you know if they were given out more than that season, or was it limited to the one time?
Who usually get's these items?
Buyers, Editors, VIP Customers? Show guests?

I'd be interested to see what other design houses are giving similar items away. Especially when other design houses have monogrammed ice cubes

They're most likely to be limited to one time (e.g. those postcards were from S/S06) and given out to probably all those you mentioned .

Another example:

Marni notepad/keychain (given out as a press gift).

I'm sure there are a lot of aspiring designers in here so, I think it's nice to get an idea of what some established designers give out to their clients so that you can get an idea on what to give out to your clients.

I found a girl on Facebook who got a limited edition book by Dries van Noten. It was given to her by buyers of a store here ("Bacci") that carry his clothing. She says there were only 200 books and it was given to the buyers after his runway show, which happened in a secret location and was on a dinnertable. I'm guessing it was Spring 2005...
Unfortunately I can't get her to scan pictures of it for me nor tell me if the book was about the S/S 05 collection. Sad...
