I think she is just as great as she once was. What you guys fell in love with wasn't really her. She was young really really shy and etc. Finally the last few years she's come out of her shell she's been a little less shy and she's having fun, haven't you ever been somewhere with people who where doing what you were doing but for a much longer time? I know I have and most of the time when that happens you get shy and quiet and etc. Then when you move up the ladder and get more comfortable with your surroundings you become more outspoken and show your true personality. She's a bubbly girl..she's just a happy person so she exudes that and I think it's a great thing, that is why a majority of the public likes her. Take tyra for example she wasn't so calm and boring like your average runway models and etc but she's def more famous. Adriana just being herself I'd rather like her for her...than for the shy awkward girl she was because she was new.

As for the hair...call me crazy but I like her hair lighter. You can tell in Videos from liverpool and the launch it's dark brown with highlights, and a few lowlights. When she has the dark hair it washes her out. She's naturally a pale girl...so she doesn't tan and she looks almost goth. It looks horrible, as opposed to this hair color it brings out her eyes and when she's tanned it brings out the golden in the tan.

She's got at LEAST 5 years left with VS as well as Maybelline she said it herself. So if she was loosing it like to say or that they wish she was like her old self she sure still impresses her clients. She's one of VS's favorite models as well as Maybelline, I'm glad she isn't going anywhere for a long time.

I don't think you understood my post...I was saying that I think what you said was wrong...I was far from agreeing with you...So you miss the girl that wasn't herself? That was shy and uncomfortable? To me she hasn't changed her true self has come out..why do you her being and awkward? Aren't you happy she's happy and having fun? You can clearly see in that interview she's EXACTLY how she is now! Except the rest of her personality has come out? I don't get it I guess. I'd rather her be herself which is a spunky, happy girl. As opposed to boring shy, and does nothing but pout her lips in pictures at events. She did that in the beginging because she was shy, and she has admitted that. She's now more open and happy about who she is. I like her a LOT more than I did before, years ago she didn't stand out with her personality...she was pretty much like every other model..because Shyness can come off bitchy, Adriana doesn't.

As far as I'm concerned she hasn't changed except getting better, and more happy with where she is and I love that she always comes off as happy and not typical model boring which I believe is.

I understood your post very well and exacly the shy young Adriana you described is what I miss that's why I said it..You think what I sad was wrong? What did i say that was so wrong? I only stated my opinion - I miss the old Adriana, period.
And why are you even spending your time analyzing that so much, it's not going to change my opinion or anybody else's.
Peole just cannot understand that.. Don't try to overrule everybody elses opinion with yours, it's just not going to work, perhaps you'll say "I wasn't.." well that's exactly what you are doing with your two lasts posts, I wasn't starting an argument I simply stated how I felt.

And you're talking about Adriana like you know her so well.. you don't, none of us do. Unless you've known her personaly for years everything else is just an assumption.
People change, and she just use to be more shy, that's all.

couturechic, its obvious from the pic above she is not a pale girl. she is brazilian. most brazilians are a mix of african/amerindian/euro descent. adriana actually refers to herself as a black mix.
honestly, i just think her face looks worse now. her cheeks look too big. and i did prefer the dark hair with minimal golden brown highlights because it brought out her eyes. Since she is Latino, I assume all she needs to get some color is walk outside a little.

That picture was taken a few days after a Victoria's Secret Launch, in which the girls prepare with tanning and a bare bronze booth that Victoria's Secrett requires both which lasts for weeks. She's naturally pale, you can see it many of her candids (walking out on the street). She tans, you can't go from tan to pale. It's the opposite. Some brasilians are very pale. Hence look below. She tans often, because she's out int eh sun in Brasil and she tans in NY. Plus her baby picture shows her skin color as well and she's not dark she is a light skinned girl.

I'd rather her change her hair and etc, and show she's a little versitle. And obviously it works she's the only VS angel to have multiple contracts and has been for a while. So obviously they don't mind either, IMO Gisele is boring it's always 1 hairstyle with her almost maybe she wears it straight once and a while and Karolina it's always 1 of 2 looks hair down or hair back and almost the same goes for Ale. Now Adriana may not be everyone's cup of tea but she is the only angel who has died her hair light brown, red, black and dark brown and managed to pull all of them off, now she may not look her best with 1 or 2 of them but she still looks beautiful. I give her props for being like an everyday female and experimenting with her hair then relying on it for her career.

I have to agree with couturechic - Adriana is quite pale. That's why I love her with really dark hair because she looks so stunning and exotic - dark hair, light skin and blue eyes.

She does experiment a lot with her hair but she always stick with a natural look which is good.

I agree with every single thing you said (and after this post as well).

About her skin color, she is medium yes, and alot of people in Brazil are, as well as darker, but don't forget how the weather and sun is in Brazil so all year around they get a tan and it appears natural. Adriana in any way is not pale, she appears lighter in some pictures, I do as well, I'm darker naturally, but in certain pictures from the flash I can appear very white.

Btw this is not an argument, so don't bother respond to that with one.

I agree with some of what you said betty, she's in the sun alot so people assume she's naturally dark but people tend to forget that, Maybe by some standards she's not "pale" but she's fair skinned, a lot more fair skinned than what people think I've seen pictures of her at her home in brasil with her mom and grandma and she's very very fair, and I can tell you there wasn't any special makeup or cameras in that picture. She's just naturally fair skinned, you can tell from her baby picture, and the reason she tans so easy is because of her olive undertones. She's got french in her, which is probably where she gets the fair skin from.
