It's that time of year again when chocolates, roses, love hearts and lingerie come into their own for Valentine's Day. Ahead of this year's big day, we caught up with Victoria's Secret Angels Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima to see what their exacting standards are...

Who is your Valentine?
AA: I will let you try and guess...

AL: I actually have two very special Valentine's. Their names are Valentina and Sienna

What material things are on your Valentine's Day wish list?
AA: Who doesn't like some amazing Victoria's Secret bras and panties? The Victoria's Secret Very Sexy New Flirt Demi Bra with matching Cheeky panty is perfect! I love it in the pink/red leopard lace!

AL: Well, you always have to have something special to wear on Valentine's Day. Whether it's something sweet like a pyjama set with hearts all over it or something a little sexier like the New Very Sexy Eyelash Lace Unlined Demi Bra and matching Cheekini panty!

What is your top tip for a Valentine's Day date?
AA: Make sure it is unique, that makes it special

AL: No matter what you do, do it from the heart

What was your first experience of love?
AL: I once got a very sweet card and chocolate from a boy in elementary school. I thought I was in love, but it didn't last past the school year

What is your big Valentine's Day don't?
AA: Gifts that are not thoughtful

AL: Forgetting it! Always remember Valentine's Day. No matter what!

AA: Breakfast in bed - I love it

AL: Always remember it!

Would you forgive your partner if they forgot to do something special on the big day?

AA: Yes definitely, as you should be celebrating your love all year long and not just on this one day

AL: He would have to make up for it in a big way and buy me the whole Victoria's Secret store!

What is your favourite underwear colour?
AA: I would have to say black or red

AL: Black.

What fragrance makes you feel most alluring?
AA: Bombshell by Victoria's Secret

AL: Love Me More fragrance

What is the most romantic thing someone has done for you?
AA: I will keep this a secret

AL: Cook me my favourite dinner

Why do you think it's important to celebrate special days like this?
AA: I think we should express our love for each other every other day. But Valentine's gives you a reminder to do that

AL: I personally think you should show your loved ones you care every day. Even if it is something small, try and show them. I think this holiday allows you to go the extra mile

hair and makeup are utterly flawless. it's almost inconceivable that a person should be that beautiful.

the dress needs to be burned. immediately. maybe if it had a ballgown silhouette at the bottom half it could be saved? as it is now, it makes her body look terrible -- which is quite a spectacular achievement, considering it's the body of ADRIANA LIMA.
