i totally agree. she seems like a super sweet person during interviews, and from what i've heard, very nice in person as well (a few friends of mine have had the pleasure of meeting her). i love her face. i think its absolutely gorgeous and not ordinary AT ALL (even if u think she's ugly i find it hard to say she's got an ordinary face). sometimes i wish she would do more high fashion (she's proven that she CAN do it so i dont want to hear that she's not versatile enough) but she is becoming more of a household name, which most high fashion models today dont accomplish, so i cant really complain. i didnt really like her at first. didnt think she was ordinary, just wasnt sold on her. but i think she's improved with "age" and looks 10X better than in her guess days (not that she wasnt pretty then) and she's become my favorite model.

i agree and yet dont. like i do think she's got the sex appeal down to a science. but for example i dont like very many of her victoria's secret pics, esp. the ones from the catalogs. i only like maybe literally a handful of her VS pics. i just dont find them all that sexy maybe b/c VS is very obvious with their ads and they lack subtlety.

i happen to really love a lot of her candids, when she doesnt have to put on that sexkitten/sexpot mask. if u noticed, one of my favorite pics is actually one where she's got her face all scrunched up and doesnt particularly look "fabulous" but to me it's an adorable pic and it's like (for me at least) oh look, she isnt always playing a sex pot. she can look like a normal person, etc etc.

i know she doesnt have a big fan base on this board (from what i can tell) and that's totally cool. i really like this board's appreciation of high fashion models coz a couple of other sites i frequent love the adriana's, abb's, and alessandra's of the modeling industry but don't appreciate high fashion models as much. personally, i tend to like both. i love adriana and estella warren but i also love natalia vodianova, liya kebede, and am warming up to daria werbowy. and of course i love linda evangelista and sharlom harlow who are oldies but goodies

My theory is Victoria's hottest secrets are Gisele and Adri. Gisele, women adored her, and they want to look like her. Adriana , Men loved her and they want their GF to look like her. i agree that adriana is a hit among men. that doesnt change the fact that i personally don't care for her VS pics. i know what VS's M.O. is; i just dont particularly care for it. hence my own personal dislike for VS pics. i have no real problem w/her doing VS; its her own choice and i'm sure its making her a ton of money. i'm not a giselle fan myself. other models i've disliked, i've warmed up to after a while (daria, hana, kk come to mind) but i never liked giselle, have never wanted to look like giselle (i feel her face is boyish--u can have a strong jawline w/out looking like a boy), have never found giselle remotely sexy and in all likelihood will never like giselle.. adriana on the other hand, i would like to look like. not that i'd EVER get plastic surgery, but if i had to pick a celeb to look like i'd pick adriana. plus i've already got her weird smile (u know...gums show, not part. the most attractive thing u've ever seen) so i can relate on that front. i think she is sexy and have no problem admitting that. i just think she's sexier when she isnt doing victoria's secret catalogs.

Most Men (like 95%) like that Dirrrty, Vampy look that she portrayed at VS commercials........ Women prefer the sexiness of somebody like Alessandra Ambrossio(more safer, non-threatening).
