Saying someone is pretty is equal to saying they are stunning. Ever hear of
synonyms? My personal opinion yes, she may be gorgeous but she is not the best thing I have ever seen. Therefore, she is overrated to me.

You get what you receive. You were the one who couldn't handle the fact I find Adriana Lima overrated, which was MY personal opinion and entitled to it. Whatever you feel equals to stunning is your belief. Not my own.

i actually have no problem with anyone thinking adriana is overrated. i've heard it a million times. i just found the use of the word stunning interesting in light of the fact that u think she's overrated. i really dont think u need to be rude. but if u want to be like that, fine. thats ur choice.

Stunning and Pretty arent necessarily synonyms. Usually people that I find it stunning are pretty, but it doesnt always happen the other way around. At least not with me. I Adriana its a very sucessful commercial model and she is the face/body of VS. She what comes to my mind when i hear " Victoria's Secrets". I dont think she is overrated, its just that usually here (tfs) I noticed people tends to like more the fashion models. Myself included.I think Adriana its really pretty but in general I don't like much her as a model. But its hard to judge those more commercial models, if you considerate they dont have the same amount of fashion work for you compare them with more "complete" models

anyone know how long adriana's contract with VS is? (and when she officially started?) b/c i was noticing that she's not featured as much in their catalogs anymore. or at least, the past 3-4 catalogs i've received (after the semi-annual sale/fall season) havent had very many pics of her. so i was wondering, how many years are left on her contract?

oh and here's a pic from the VS site that i really like...simple...pretty i'm gonna send my friend my catalog and have him scan this in higher quality.

Oooh that is my favorite pic as well, OriginalSin! It's funny. because in a catalog of lots of pics like that, in similar poses in lingerie, that pic had me flipping back the pages trying to find it again. It's something about the way she is just casually looking at the camera, as if she's lounging around her living room in front of the TV or something (except with angel wings on...LOL!) and looking so naturally pretty. Captivating. I love Adriana!

totally agree! i love how its kinda sexy (mostly coz its hard NOT to be sexy in underwear ) but not overdone like some shots.

btw to answer your question I am not sure how long her contract is for...it does seem as though there are many new models being used in the VS catalogs (like Izabela Goulart for instance) but who knows, maybe the next Christmas catalog will have lots of Adriana...I am sure she'll be around for next year's swimsuit season, since no one looks better in that dept.!
