Surprised to read she stopped working with Richard, didn't they work together pretty much since the start of her career? I remember seeing a video on youtube from 10 years ago, it was like a "a day in the life of" video with her, her best friend Tatiana and Richard...

Ale has been with Richard for a ridiculously long amount of time. She started off with Elite in 1998 and then moved to Marilyn for about 1-2 years, and then returned to Elite. Since then she's been with Richard. He's certainly been instrumental to her career (VS angel status and her work with Katie Grand in 2010), but honestly I question a lot of his decisions regarding her career.

I feel like she never did as good of a job as her peers balancing fashion/commercial jobs and it wasn't for a lack of interest on the clients side. In my opinion, Ale has never truly reached supermodel potential like Adriana and I don't think Richard is capable of getting her to the next level. I was hopeful that with the move to DNA she'd have a stronger agency supporting her, but that never really happened and considering she is one of the agency's top earners I would have hoped that they would have placed more resources behind her.

I don't believe that she would move to IMG and leave Richard for nothing, so I'm very excited and hopeful to see how her career unfolds in the next few months. I hope Ale doesn't get lost in the crowd over there, but if any agency can get Ale to a higher level in her career it would be IMG. Lord knows if they can get Lily A a Givenchy campaign then they can do anything.

I wonder if she'll leave Viva in London/Barcelona/Paris as well? She's already off the boards at Priscilla's in Sydney.

Not sure if it's because Behati and Candice are gone or because this may be her last year, but Ale received the royal treatment when it came to wings this year for the Holiday shoot. The most angel-esque she's ever looked:








Also, there are some rumors going around that the secret project Ale shot in June might actually be the Fantasy Bra since it appears the green paste might be for a molding they were doing.

Other evidence:
1) Behati and Candice haven't given birth yet so they won't be in the running, and this would've certainly been Behati's year.
2) Lily had it last year, and unless they want to give it to Adriana again for a 4th year, there's no other veteran angel left to receive the bra.
3) They could always go with a brand new angel, but seems a bit early for one of them to get it?

I think for the past 2 years or so her contract has only been for a single year so I guess we'll just have to see if she keeps renewing it.

Ugh, I thought since moving agencies she would be a bit more active but she's on vacation again shooting her swim line in the Maldives, I guess it's bringing her decent money since she's still going with it. Hopefully after she's done shooting there she'll fly to Milan/Paris

I agree with you, maybe it's too early to tell, but so far IMG hasn't done much it appears.

In addition to her swim brand she also shot for the November GQ Brazil cover and right now she's in France shooting the new Rimowa campaign. I'm really hoping she sticks around for Milan and Paris and we get more from her than just Balmain. She did pack A LOT of luggage so maybe there's hope ha.
