Why Wasn't ALEXA At Mulberry?

Another little mysssstery that's been bothering us today at LFW (y'know after the Mysterious Case Of The Missing Catwalk).

WHY was Alexa not at either of Mulberry's presentations this morning? Especially as she WAS at Margaret Howell, and Topshop Unique today? AND Charles Anastase and Henry Holland's shows yesterday. hmMMMM?

Naturellement, heated speculation and scurrilous rumours soon began to ricochet around the rows of seats at various shows (there's a whole lotta waiting around between presentations, so, as you can imagine, gossip does do raaaather well).

Had the Brit superbrand and the Brit style icon fallen out? And if so, was it over the Alexa bag, named after Ms Chung, and now one of the design house's most successful pieces ever? Had Alexa (the Chung, not the bag) been snapped up by another designer label?

Mais non, a quick enquiry with the lovely people at Mulberry HQ put our minds at rest. They report that Alexa was indeed invited to attend their presentations, but a schedule clash meant she couldn't attend either of this morning's shows. Fair enough. And they were also happy to report that the fluffy-haired tomboy herself will once again be proudly acting as glambassador for Mulberry - djing and hosting a party in Korea for the Brit luxury label next month.

Grazia Daily is very pleased to have solved another LFW week myssstery. Cos somehow, Mulberry sans Alexa is somewhat unthinkable. *Phew*.
