Did she do something to her eyebrows on top of the bad makeup job? Her face looks so harsh here. The dress is boring given the event, and last year she wore the tux right?, I'd like to see her go all out next year and wear a kickass gown. She could pull it off.

I STILL think that dress is perfect for Alexa and this event, because she's wearing an edgy Brit designer and she stays loyal to her own style (perfect shot of look in #486). Plus she looks AWESOME in it. It's very modern, hip, and young. It's exactly right for her. And the matching purse is killer.

If only she had worn a darker shade of lipstick and did something different with her hair - maybe an updo?

Not liking the look at all. the dress is quite nice, I'm not a huge fan though. the shoes are horrible and clumpy though, just plain ugly. the bag is also ugly. She could have made the dress work for the gala with some dressy shoes and make up and some sort of hairstyle. she looks sooo meh. like a little mouse dressed up as a mermaid. yuck.

I'm not surprised she's wearing a dress like this. She's showing her best asset, those legs.

^ Her legs don't even look good though. Her shoes are too clumpy, they don't flatter her leg. and the length of the dress isn't nice either, the length it hits her at is really unflattering for her legs too.

oh I agree, but I think SHE believes this is a great length/silhouette for her. She could have done better.
