Alexa Chung

^ well she's taking a ballet-fit class and i assume she's being papped on the way to and from. so i don't know; they don't bother me. i guess she could put them in a big bag, but whatever.

Dear Paparazzi,

I've noticed Miranda Kerr and Kate Bosworth do this, and I want in on the action to. I shall be leaving home in ten minutes wearing red lipstick. Take my bloody photo.

Thanks,
Alexa

Why do you think that she's calling them?

I don't think that Alexa does that
maybe some of paparazzi are fans of her

so even good why they care about Lauren Conrad? Kelly Brook? Abbey Clancy? Ashley Hebert? I don't know who are last two ladies but dailymail.co.uk posting their pics.

Fringe is back! Yay :buzz:

cute dress with flats, and i think i like the bangs but i'd like to see them a bit more to decide.

lol at all the tweeny girls flanking her. ^_^

The fringe softens her face so much, she looks wonderful. I like the dress as well, but don't care for the chain necklace she keeps wearing though, doesn't suit her vibe.

It almost feels weird to see her hair looking that good because it was really in a terrible phase but here she definitely look wonderful. So great to see the fringe back ! The dress is cute but I wish she'd worn different shoes. I think she was going for a Birkin kind of look which makes me wonder why she wore that terrible necklace.

ugh! i totally agree with you guys about that necklace!

her hair looks to be a different colour too hey? it's nice.

personally i like the flats on her here; she can look a bit coltish or gangly with heels and a mini. this is more .. .french. you're right of course wolkfolk - it's totally birkinesque. :flower:

Do you guys feel she has more of an English or French style?

quite the mix i'd say.

parts of her style seems very british - like the macs, barbor and peacoats, the rubber boots, midi skirts, and romantic blouses.

but then there are aspects of her style that are very french; she's always loved a striped t-shirt, miniskirts with flats, easy-breasy hair, jeans with jackets, basket bags.

i think you could say she has some american influence too, with cut-offs, levis, converse, mohair, and a little bit of grunge.

so i wouldn't say one or another dominates, and since she's been welcomed into the fashion world she mixes in more high fashion too.

personally i think she's been pretty open about her style influences, including jane birkin, but i don't see her as ripping her off on a daily basis. :P to each his or her own though! :flower:

For me style is so universal these days, that when people say they're channeling "English style" or "French style", they really hardly look like it. Instead, they just look trendy/modern. And to me that is what Alexa is.
