For me style is so universal these days, that when people say they're channeling "English style" or "French style", they really hardly look like it. Instead, they just look trendy/modern. And to me that is what Alexa is.

To be totally fair to Chung, I don't think she can be accused of "ripping off" Jane Birkin when she's always completely open about her inspirations: Birkin, the Shrimp, Francois Hardy, et. al.

Anyway, I feel like this is a bit more like the Alexa I've missed over the past couple years. The chunky necklace isn't to my taste but it helps make the look a bit more personal, and I love that she's wearing flats.

I also love the fit of that pink. London's been a hit for her this time round!
