Wow, she looks so dull in that black number. I mean, she's renowned for her quirky style.

I don't think Alexa has ever been quirky, she's always pretty dull style-wise. I just subscribe here because I like her face.

That being said, she's looking rough as hell lately.

i want the pixie fitted shirtdress in blue. it's $325 unfortunately - but it reminds me of a gap denim dress i had back in the early 00's.

i'm not so sure about the rest of the alexa for ag pieces. the legging ankle jean for $235 has fading on it. i usually like my denim to have no fading. she did say that the denim is heavier than usual. for me that makes a denim item more worthwhile.

luckily, i have an AG store near me. makes it more likely that i'll find it on sale.

what does everyone else think about the collection?

^ i think it's cute. it's not too fashion forward that it'll date immediately, but yet it's on trend, just enough, to make it worth the prices i guess, although i'd need to see the quality in person.

Her hair has never looked worse.

yeah; not loving it in recent photos, unfortunately.

...she's renowned for her quirky style.

i think i know what you mean; she's certainly been know for throwing things together in an eclectic way, including vintage pieces, high-low mixes, etc. but since she's gotten more involved in the fashion world directly, and less involved in the music world - and since she's moved to america and left the UK behind - i think she's lost a bit of her panache, style-wise. she's become more bland, and sometimes it feels like she's wearing designers because they sent her stuff, so she becomes more like a walking billboard.

alexa shines best when she's true to herself. and maybe she still is but she's just changing. i'd really like to see more of her mixing and eccentricity in terms of her outfits; although, even above, pairing a parka with that strapless dress is not typical, so she still comes up with some interesting mixes.

Never really saw why she's a "fashion icon," though I like a lot of her choices(simple good quality clothes), but the media tends to force feed who is worthy/who is not. Anyway, really like the Glamour editorial, not usually a fan of overalls, but I like the way it's styled.

She's in a complete desert stylewise lately. Not inspiring or interesting at all and I hate her hair.

Alexa lately has been looking a little too desperate to cling on to her youth. It's not becoming on anyone, and Alexa is certainly no exception.

yes i think her "lifestyle" appears to be taking it's toll a little she needs to stop the excessive cigarette smoking  that said, i love her tights ;)

Her Madewell line was a lot less try-hard, these clothes aren't quite the brilliant retro throwback she thought they would be, they're just ugly.

They're also obnoxiously pretentious. They look like a cheap try-hard attempt at making APC clothes.
