Alexa Chung

I love how she makes those beautiful patent leather boots work with different styles of outfits. The blue dress with the officer jacket is such a great look. I don't like it without it , the choker makes it too trendy.

I get strong Françoise Hardy vibes from her outfits at Burberry and at JW Anderson as well. The outftit at JW could've been great, it's a shame the shoes are so bad but I love her flower pin.

She looked perfect from head to toe at Charlotte Olympia though. Love her velvet scarf.

^ could be she just likes them? i know i love that cut...

that whole cape look is so awesome. she tends to shine in london, maybe because it's home?

One more from outside the Erdem show - I like this better with the coat, I wish the dress had sleeves.

^ she's wearing the marks and spencer's trench from her collection in that image.

is anyone else really disappointed by the marks and spencer items? they seem really dull.

agree; the sweetness of the dress is balanced with the olive trench - which i love the colour of, btw. so much better than typical tan.

she has worn great outwear lately. she also put that cute little military jacket over that blue satin dress to great effect, and then the cape above. would love to have all these coats.

I can't stand short bellbottoms and I don't think they're flattering on her body type. I think somebody like Michelle Williams has pulled off that style in the past much better.

I also prefer the Erdem look with the coat on. Also the outfit just looks better from that angle, period.

Absolutely love the first look on the last page, though. I've never seen her in a look like that before.

Except for the coat everything is forgettable. I don't know if it's Alexa or M&S that is to blame but I expected more

lol short bellbottoms have been huge for over a year, they're everywhere, starting with Zara.. I think we may be giving her too much credit here, if anything she's just following trends, some more obnoxious than others (that look with the brown or red furry thing and thin scarf.. probably got a mirror effect several times attending a show in that).

yes; precisely. those short flares have been around for a while now, as have the cut-hem jeans and the plushy jackets.

^ Ah, I so disagree, it's never looked better to me. Perfect shaggy waves that look messy but groomed at the same time.

She looks perfect at the Brit Awards, my favorite look of hers in a long time.

i quite like the hair too, and it's nice to see her in a sexy look at the brit awards, but classy as well. really elegant dress on her, with just a basic pump and clutch. nothing quirky. lovely.
