Alexa Chung says her busy schedule is having an adverse effect on her figure.

The TV presenter says she rarely has time to eat a proper meal.

‘My weight is dwindling as I don’t have time to go to the supermarket,’ she tells The Sunday Times Magazine. ‘I speak to my mum most days and she always asks what I’ve had to eat. She gets very upset when I say: “Uh, I forgot.”

‘My dream breakfast is eggs Florentine or almond croissants, but I never get it. I’m thinner now than I’ve ever been because I’m working so hard.’

Alexa, 24, is currently dating Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner, 22.

They even got her age wrong!

Their first gig is on January 13th in Wellington, New Zealand but Alexa mentioned a "two-week-holiday sized suitcase" in her column so she mustn't be sticking around for that long.

I bought the Louise Goldin for Topshop hoodie dress because I saw it on her- I did like it anyway though.

the stripey gap dress. saw it on her and loved it. searched high and low for it in Gap stores across London only for it to turn up on ebay a few months later for a bargainous £17 which I snapped up and made lots of people on here very sad.

ETA: I have a couple of the AA melange pocket skirts too but I think I had them before alexa so ner...

With me it's rather the quality and the amount of money. If I REALLY want to spend that much for that skirt (I dunno how it is in the UK/US, but due to shipping and everything the items of AA are not really cheap).

I bought that dress too! Just got it in the post today - it's a size small but is really wide at the hips and isn't very flattering on me. Such a shame 'cause I loved it! Does it fit well for you?

There's a small article in an Austalian newspaper about Arctic Monkeys (and "their female counterparts") "shacking up in a dream beachfront property on Sydney's northern beaches ahead of their Big Day Out tour dates. The band headed straight to an exclusive New Year's Eve party to welcome in 2009 at a waterfront property, where it was VIP treatment and Access All Areas passes at the bash."

i believe the waterfront property was the party thrown by the owner of modular records, the label that represents bands like the klaxons, ladyhawke, the presets, cut copy etc. in australia... i can't for the life of me remember his name, but he did throw a huge new years eve party at his mansion on the water, and i would be surprised if the arctic monkeys/alexa didn't go to it, it's really their kind of scene.
