Laisla- yes I had it like a year before Alexa wore it but then after she started wearing it EVERYONE bought one so I decided to not wear it again! Also, that striped dress is now going for like £60 on ebay so you were lucky!

She has nice, slightly quirky pieces, which she puts together in a way I like. It's not so out there, that it looks forced or ridiculous (Agyness Deyn), all her outfits are perfectly wearable.

I love Alexas style but i cant help feel disheartened that she has mimicked "The Likes" own unique style.By no means am i a major fan of this group but from past photos i couldnt help notice what they once wore Alexa now resembles.She has aquired a style as a fashionista but.....to me,shes taking credit for what others have worn.

Maybe its just from what ive seen.To be quiet honest i have seen girls roam the streets with a much more enviable look than Alexa with pennies in their purses.

She recieves so much freebies it cant be that hard to find an outfit either.
We'd all be beautiful if that were the case!

I hope im not abrubt because ive grown to love Alexa.It was just a passing thought.

I dont think anyone here thinks or has said she dresses particularly uniquely. to be honest most student/indie types in london dress in a similar style

She's kind of predictable.Safe.If i see one more girl imitating her knee sock,lace dress,hipster stance ill scream

Honestly I don't find her to be all that original either, but she does have her moments. I like her style because it's accessible, a little playful and it works for her. I don't feel like she tries too hard. (Most of the time.)

18ForEver, I think you are right (recently I haven't liked her choices very much). For me, it's not so much the clothes. She is absolutely gorgeous (well at least imo) as well and not just a typical model. She does more for the clothes than the clothes do for her. I get tired of her in intervals as she is quite predictable (Sofia Coppola is the same for me as well, I can only take so much) but she wears this "style" very well. It is also very refreshing to see someone wear clothes that everyone can buy (apart from whatever issues you might have with how it's made).

I like her style, because she can combine expensive things with clothes that are really not that expensive. I mean everybody would look good dressed in Chanel from head to toe, but the art is to mix things with good results. Her style is fun, and very unique - that's why I understand that she is not massivly adored as style icon...
Plus she seems like a funny and friendly girl

^ I think so, too. And I like that she always looks comfortable. I mean there have been some things she's worn that have seemed a little off, like that pink Luella prom dress, but I appreciate that she tries out something new every once in awhile.
