hahah if she'd made the whole thing about her opinion of creeps 'lyrically molesting' her in the street it would have been much better. the whole interlude paying out the american government was a bit low. i mean, they're just doing their job, and who wouldn't be extra cautious with a history like america's?

She wasn't 'paying out' the American government, well not IMHO anyway. She was giving out about the people who do security there, a completely different thing and a legitimate cripe, I think.
I think she meant that these men are 'under-sexed' though, not over sexed. And it would have been a pretty good tripartite if she'd left it at that. But it worked either way. Again, my vote's in and I liked it.
I'm also voting for Alexa in the NME awards.
But the fact that she owns Uggs may sway me towards Noel Fielding, at least his outfit are intentionally funny.

She's hosting the Elle Style Awards again this year

Style Awards, hosted by H&M, ELLE's Editor in Chief Lorraine Candy announced that Alexa Chung will host the ELLE Style Awards on 9th of February.

Sipping Moet, indulging in Godiva chocolates and enjoying a huge 25% dicount on anything bought last night, 2,000 ELLE readers arrived at H&M's Bond Street store in London to hear the announcement and shop with the stars.

Actress Camilla Rutherford, models Jade Parfitt and Jasmin Guinness and presenter Sarah Jane Crawford attended the launch party and shopping night, along with VV Brown who was confirmed last night as the live act that will perform at The ELLE Style Awards Party.

'It's only the second time we've had a live performance, so it's very special', said Lorraine Candy last night.

oh yes! so glad she got the hosting gig... can't wait to see what she wears. there were some lovely luella dresses in the SS09 collection that she would rock, although i doubt she'll go luella again. Charles Anastase? Richard Nicol and Proenza Schouler could also be awesome... ah so excited to see her choice!

Previously I thought her articles were kind of...dumb, but I actually enjoyed this one. I totally understand about the airport thing. And the last past was hilariously true.

Alexa denied that she was designing a collection for New Look in her Independent column (One Sun hack recently pointed out: "As if it wasn't irritating enough to have to refer to misery guts Alexa Chung as a TV presenter/model/DJ, it now seems as though we need to add 'designer' to that list..." While this isn't true, and he seems to have overlooked "biting columnist", I'd have to agree with him about it being annoying to have to litter my job description with /s.), but it seems she is modelling for them.
