ALEXA Chung proved her move to the US worth it last night as she stole the limelight from Lindsay Lohan on the red carpet.

The presenter, who recently moved to New York with boyfriend Alex Turner and stars in her own MTV show, looked stylish as she showed up for the Cinema Society & Hugo Boss screening of Inglourious Basterds.

She looked chic in a high-waisted short black satin skirt, a cream blouse complete with studded collar, a black quilted Chanel bag and a pair of towering chunky block heels.

Alexa looked a world away from Lindsay Lohan, who showed up in a black mini dress, boot heels and long blonde hair extensions.
