BRITISH FASHION COUNCIL & GRAZIA LAUNCH STYLE ICON AWARD
OK, this is going to be FUN. The British Fashion Council is launching a one-off award to celebrate 25 years of London Fashion Week which will seek to find a style icon who best embodies 'the spirit of London…as a leading creative fashion capital… '.
The award will also give you the opportunity to be part of the British Fashion Awards, by voting for your favourite. Grazia is teaming up with the British Fashion Council to promote the ‘London 25’ award, which is the BFC’s first award in which the nominees will be put to a public vote. The winner will be announced at the British Fashion Awards ceremony on 9 December .
So far, only some of the 25 nominees have been chosen. Some are household names, others are influential individuals that are virtually unknown outside the industry. The rest will be finalized today in a meeting of industry heavy weights, including Grazia’s Style Director Paula Reed. See below for Grazia‘s exclusive preview of the current short list, which as the BFC states ‘recognise the many individuals that make London a cultural force in the global fashion industry.’
