Alexa Chung has admitted she was not happy about her US MTV show being axed.

The model and presenter said: "I'm not distraught, but I'm not not upset - it was fun while it lasted."

The 26-year-old and her Arctic Monkeys boyfriend Alex Turner moved to live in Brooklyn when It's On With Alexa Chung was commissioned, and said she has no plans to move back to London at the moment.

She said: "I like it there and I like it here, and I'm lucky enough to be able to do both at the moment so I'm just spending time there."

Alexa told how she would of course be rooting for the Arctic Monkeys at the NME Awards on Wednesday.

She said: "I hope they win - Monkeys to win."
