Alexa Chung

just cos Alexa can pull them off doesn't mean we all have to wear them, oh no. a fashion collapse :/

And the thing is, I don't think even Alexa pulled it off... But you're right, a fashion collapse. :/

Not gonna lie, the shorts remind me of a tacky early noughties trend that made me quiver with distaste then, and now.

Ergh, negativity towards Alexa does not suit me.

Today I popped in "New Look" shop and was really surprised when I saw how many things were inspired by Alexa.

For example, this is an evident copy of Alexa Mulberry bag

And this is "Luella" dress that Alexa wore

I just wonder if it's legal to copy clothes like that....

I think there's a rule where they have to make at least 5 changes to the garment. I remember when Topshop ripped off something by Chloe a few years ago and had to remove it from their stores.

Just googled it...

Gosh, as if those mid-calf leggings with lace weren't trashy enough.
Thos shorts are horrid !! I don't wanna look like I'm doing housekeeping.

A few of these were posted a while ago, but here's the whole set. It's an ad campaign for South Korean clothing brand, MOGG.

it is, unless you have copyright on a print or something:flower:

I've seen many of those lace cycling shorts everywhere many times before. In black, brown, hot pink.. Where i live, you can get it at the night markets for like, 10 bucks for 2 or something like that. it's crazy. personally, i don't like them. but i do love the jacket she was wearing. a lot.

Thanks. I ordered from AA. They kind of fall into that "so ugly they're now cute" Category. ;) And perfect for Spring/Summer. :flower:

Ugh, that Mulberry Alexa bag knock-off looks so bad. It looks so cheap and doesn't look chic like the real one at all.

ALEXA Chung will return to British TV with a fashion series - three months after losing her US show.
The ex-model, 26, will front Frock Me with designer pal Henry Holland.

The pair originally teamed up for a first stint of the show two years ago - then she moved to New York to try to crack America.

She initially had success with MTV's It's On With Alexa Chung - but it was axed after two series in December.

The new run of Frock Me with TK Maxx will launch on T4 next month with Alexa - who is dating Arctic Monkeys singer Alex Turner - fronting segments from New York, where she still lives.

Henry, who runs label House of Holland, will cover European stories while Radio 1's Gemma Cairney will visit a different UK city every week.

I've seen a few copies of each piece. Only last night I saw one of the dress on an advert for Tesco and I've also seen a copy of that on boohoo.com. As for the bag I've seen various copies to, even in primark

She looks good in the MOGG shots! Apart from the 2nd last one. It's over airbrushed IMO.
Love the last one.
Hate that New Look tack.
