that blouse shes wearing in the pic with Kim Stewart...i would love it if it was a tiny bit longer....

it kinda looks like it shrank a bit...the sleeves and all...or if she bought it a few sizes too small

The cool kids were causing a commotion at the Mulberry party last night. Alexa Chung and Kimberly Stewart danced non-stop to Hot Chip's set on the upstairs level of the Mulberry shop while Pixie Geldof hung out with T4's Grimshaw.

I really like this outfit, the blouse would have been better with a bit more length though. Wish I could see her coat better.

I'm sure the jumper she has over her shoulders is from the men's department in Gap. I wonder if it moults all over her clothes like it does mine...

It seems like she has become very popular so suddenly this past week or so

That pink Luella dress would be better, I think, if it weren't pink. Too ballet-y and girly.

The Dare magazine interview
You were a model for four years. Why did you give it up?
It’s really, really boring. My proudest achievement is definitely the fact that I realised I wasn’t enjoying modeling and I got myself out of it.

Tell us about your new show, Vanity Lair.
It’s a social experiment about vanity and our opinions on what makes someone attractive. Ten people are put in a house together and, each week, new contestants have to compete to join them, based on how attractive they are. The person deemed least attractive gets voted out. They’re told to their face, so it’s pretty harsh.

So, people will get evicted for being spotty or chubby?
No, the whole point is that as the housemates get to know each other they learn that attractiveness actually has very little to do with how you look and more to do with wit or charisma.

Would you ever have plastic surgery?
No, never. It’s cheating and it just makes people look odd. I’m not interested in looking fake.

What’s your take on the size-zero debate?
A lot of models look very thin, but what people forget is that these are 15 year-olds who are 5ft10” and that, for them, is their natural body type.

Are you comfortable with your own body?
Yes, really comfortable. I’m very lucky, because I’m naturally a size 8 to 10 and I don’t really have to do anything to keep it that way.

How would you describe your style?
Scruffy…I always tend to look unkempt, even if I’m wearing the neatest thing in my wardrobe.

And are you happy with your looks?
Definitely, I’m not saying that I never make any fashion mistakes, but I don’t spend ages each day worrying about what to wear.

Do you pick up any fashion tips from stylists?
I don’t really listen to stylists because I don’t believe in being dressed up like someone else. I think it’s important not to adapt what you wear to please TV producers.

Who are your celebrity style icons?
I admire Sixties stars such as Marianne Faithful and Anita Pallenberg or the characters in Seventies movies like Annie Hall. I don’t think celebrities these days dress that well, apart from Chloe Sevigny – she always looks very good.

What’s your favourite high-street store?
I like Topshop and Zara but I live right by Brick Lane in East London, so I get a lot of my clothes from there or from charity shops.

Any secret little shops you’d recommend?
I really like Shop in London’s Soho and also Aimé in Notting Hill. Both sell lots of French labels. I like that French vibe – chic little dresses.

What’s the most you’ve spent on an item?
I once splashed out on a Dries Van Noten bag. I’m obsessed with handbags. I can’t stop buying them. They don’t have be designer ones, though. I just like containers in general. Tupperware’s fine.

Underwear: M&S or Agent Provocateur.

Both - it depends who you’re dressing for!

Do you have a good skincare routine?

I sleep in my make-up and use soap and water.

What’s always in your make-up bag?

My eyeliner and Rimmel Lash Maxx Mascara.

So are things going well with Alex (Turner, Arctic Monkeys frontman)?

He’s lovely, really lovely – and that’s all I’ll say!

What’s the most daring thing you’ve ever done?

Presenting live T4.

this b**** stole my man. oh and she's got bad taste, since this is a style forum.

I'd say she has bad taste in men.
Her boyfriend looks like a pimply 15 year old. I don't get it. :p

She's at Milan Fashion Week

MILAN FASHION WEEK - DAY THREE
spacer.gif
MILAN took the fashion baton this weekend as the fashion pack decamped from London to Milan to see big-hitters Emporio Armani, Just Cavalli and Missoni kick start Italy's contributions to the autumn/winter 2008-9 international collections. After a relatively quiet opening on Saturday - which saw smaller labels such as Francesco Scognamiglio and Elena Miro take centre stage - Roberto Cavalli upped the tempo on Sunday, showing a Sixties-inspired collection brimming with fluid silhouettes and flamingo-print motifs for his Just Cavalli line. Moschino Cheap and Chic championed a mermaid silhouette (think curve-hugging gowns with a flare at the ankle) for their latest offering, I Have A Lot On My Mind, which impressed Alexa Chung from her prime position on the front row; elsewhere, Emporio Armani provided some tres chic wide legged trousers and necklines encircled with fur, while Missoni worked voluminous wraps teamed with pastel flower prints. Look out for Burberry Prorsum, Jil Sander, Pringle of Scotland, Alberta Ferretti, Gianfranco Ferre and Giorgio Armani taking to the runways today. (February 18 2008, AM)

I can't find pictures :( but according to Elle UK, "Alexa Chung was front and centre at the show in a pretty Moschino cocktail dress and wooly cardi combo that infused this glamourous city with a little bit of London's street style edge".

Wow, I am really surprised to hear she is at milan fashion week! That is such great news, hopefully we will get some pictures!

*15 year-olds don't have to be that thin/are not always that thin.
I'm pretty sure i'm misinterpreting her quote here, someone correct me.
*I can't say much about her taste in men, since my beau looks just as bad [but taller/older], i feel for her lol :p
*Size 8-10? How does that translate in US/European measurements? I'm clueless.
*Of course she's going places now :innocent::rolleyes: can't you guess why?:p

I suppose she means that a lot of models are still children/ just hitting puberty and so haven't yet got a more womanly shape...

You feel for her?! If she's finding it all too difficult, I'll gladly take over :innocent:

As far as I know, a British 8 is the equivalent of an American 6.

Because of Alex maybe?! :p I don't mind though, she's very pretty and natural looking and has a good sense of style, so I'm glad we're getting more photos of her ^_^
