Alexa was preppy chic at the Topshop show at London Fashion Week in a white blazer with black piping, mini kilt and high-heeled booties. We give this collegiate-style ensemble two thumbs up.

Spotted! Alexa Chung changing her outfit midway through day one of London Fashion Week. Alexa turned up at Charles Anastase (and then Topshop) wearing one of his blazers and geeky glasses. Ten minutes after Topshop wrapped up we spotted her jumping into her car in a whole new outfit. Confused about where she'd changed - Pret? Maccie D's?! - we caught up with her backstage at PPQ to pick her brains on LFW style. ‘I felt like I had to change because I was wearing Charles to his show and I didn't think it was right to wear him at Ossie Clarke too,' she told us. ‘I thought that was the done thing but seeing as no one else changed clearly that's not the etiquette. So I'll be wearing my favourite Luella dress all day tomorrow after the show!' Alexa, who is running around Fashion Week filming for her new show Frock Me, also told us what fashion essential she always keeps in her handbag. ‘I always have a pair of over the knee socks because I'm skinny so I get cold really easily,' she revealed. ‘People take the piss out of me for always wearing them though.' And the show she's most looking forward to seeing this week? ‘Vivienne Westwood. I've never seen her show before and I don't own any of her clothes - I'm a Westwood Virgin.' Not for long, Alexa. But what on earth will you wear? We'll be watching. Meanwhile, which outfit do you prefer?

Inspired by Degas' Ballerinas meets Lolita, ex-illustrator Charles Anastase brought his unique blend of magical romance to the capital yesterday for his first ever catwalk show at London Fashion Week. And to support him, his biggest fans in London turned out - Rosin Murphy and Alexa Chung.
'It was my dream collection' Alexa told us after the show which featured lots of Charles' trademark looks: Peter Pan collars, sailor necklines and girlie, mini dresses. There were also plenty of tutus and to balance the fairy tale looks - tough, cropped leather biker jackets, sky-high wooden Natacha Marro platforms and of course, next season's new must have, a satin jumpsuit.

Also according to Elle, 'Next up it was across town to Bistroteque in London's East End for the Charles Anastase party where his biggest fan, Alexa Chung, hit the decks as special guest DJ for the night.'
