Alexa Chung is the girl to know in London these days.

Which means, of course, that I had to meet her.

The television hostess is in the midst of causing something close to an international fashion revolution. Each time you try pairing knee-high socks with your favorite Marc by Marc Jacobs mini-skirt and vintage school-boy blazer, you can thank Alexa.

If the London darling is excited for a show, you, and I, should be excited for a show.

So I asked, "Which show are you dying to see?"

She told me, "I can't wait for PPQ! The show should be amazing. I'm so looking forward to it! I'm running to change right now so I'll see you there."

The candy-colored collection of super girly dresses was met by enthusiasm from other audience members as well. Chung, in a Luella skirt, explained why she thinks the designer hits the right notes. "I love that it's all so wearable and that everything has pockets. And you look like you styled yourself--it's not too prissy."
