WHILE Kelly Osbourne was out ­throwing her hissy fit, Alexa Chung showed how to enjoy a night on the decks with decorum.

The pretty presenter took to the ­turntables (below) at the ­Harrods launch of Petra Ecclestone’s new menswear label Form, DJ-ing with style and supping on a few drinks.

Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice also turned up to ­celebrate, but ended up looking a tad frumpy as they posed for pictures with the glamorous Ecclestone sisters, Tamara and Petra...

We've been chomping at the bit to get a glimpse of fashionista Alexa Chung's new T4 show Frock Me which she co-hosts with Henry Holland - our Sunday mornings need a touch of style after all. Hollyoaks doesn't really cut the mustard. So we couldn't stop ourselves grilling Alexa when we caught up with her last night at the Form menswear launch at Harrods. ‘I've known Henry since I was 19 so working together is brilliant. He's such a natural! He seems like he's been doing it for years - I was so impressed. Maybe he's found his true calling!' she joked, leaving us wondering if he's thinking about trading in the catwalk for a whole new career. But why weren't two of our most fashion forward Londoners representing us at Milan and Paris? ‘We were meant to be shooting in Paris this week but we couldn't get enough flights for the whole team, so none of us went. I was gutted.' And so are we. A touch of Parisian glamour would be the perfect hangover remedy! Heads-up: Frock Me starts at 11.35am this Sunday and here's a run-down of the other new fashion shows to watch out for.

Alexa Chung seemed to be enjoying herself at Harrods last night, where she guest DJed a the launch party for Petra Ecclestone's new menswear collection, FORM.

The daughter of Formula 1 Racing legend Bernie Ecclestone, Petra drew an impressive crowd to the department store’s lower level after-hours.

Princesses Bea and Eugenie showed up with Marissa Montgomery (part of Lizzie Jagger's '***** Posse' and the designer of lingerie line ***** Glamore).
Also at the launch were Boris Becker - looking slightly bored - with his girlfriend Sandy Meyer-Wolden, and Jamiroquai's Jay Kay. Bernie Ecclestone himself was in the crowd with wife Slavica and daughter Tamara.

Alexa played a relaxed set while sipping whisky and soda, with The Horrors' Faris Badwan helping her at the table. A few of her picks? The Seed by The Roots and Dolly Parton's Jolene.

FORM was designed in collaboration with Savile Row staple Edward Sexton, who also worked with the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. The leather- and cashmere-heavy line will be sold exclusively at Harrods between the Dior and Gucci collections.

Since Alexa's dating a rocker herself - Alex Turner of the Arctic Monkeys - does this mean she'll pick up some of Petra and Edward's work?

Alex mustn't mind, he's friendly with Faris too; he asked the Horrors to support Arctic Monkeys on tour etc. She does seem to have parted on good terms with a few of her exes though..

Alexa's back on the decks, and on Form
Alexa Chung held onto her pal's arm for dear life last night as she head banged her way through her DJ set.

She manned the decks at the launch party of Form menswear at Harrods in Knightsbridge. The skill and talent of celebrity DJs was there for all to see - just look at the concentration on her face as she presses the play button on the CD player.

Still, it's good to see her back in action. We reported yesterday how she did not show for a £4,000 DJ set at Proud Gallery on Wednesday night, cancelling at the last minute due to work commitments.

Alexa was also knocking about last night with Peaches Geldof 's ex Faris Badwan - surely no better company for him to forget his old flame.
