read the article. it's not bad. better than her indie column. essentially it's an essay on her being influenced by tomboy-ish style. the weakness of it is the quotes she's gotten or examples of style she likes are all from her mates - valentine, pixie, alison mosshart, agyness and her stylist steph ... which i think weakens it.
