So true. I feel bad that she's forced to interview people like Stephanie Pratt just because they're on the same network. Stephanie looks like such a try hard next to Alexa.

I her outfit from yesterday's show, just don't care for the Salt Water sandals. I'm about to go purchase that elephant necklace - love it!

I didn't know who this young lady was for the longest time, or why her style was worthy of inspiring, when I finally learned of her I was highly disappointment.

She's not a classic beauty by any means and she doesn't seem very sure of herself (bad posture and awkward smile) but her figure is insane (hers legs don't quit!) and her style is easy to emulate (high/low mix) so I guess I understand the appeal but still...she doesn't really DO anything does she?

There are hundreds more 'style icons' much more worthy of criticism as to what they 'do', don't you think? Alexa presents her own MTV show, also still does work for Channel 4 in UK, contributes to Vogue UK as a writer (and has for The Independent newspaper and Company magazine in the past).

If you don't like her style or beauty then fine (although loudly criticising someones beauty irks me to no end and just makes you sound vain and shallow)

Why does everyone want Alexa to "glam up" and completely change who she is?

She gets it wrong sometimes but I think that's part of her appeal...she's not intimidating...
