Alexa Chung

Sorry:blush:, but Alexa only has A-List stars on her show. Don't you watch?

Maybe her show was not renewed because she is homesick. That's my opinion.:flower:

Of course I watch it. But only for Alexa. A LIST? Those guests aren't A list!!! They are today's news and yesterday's paper! Apart from a few like John Mayer or Gerard Butler... But most of the others were just talentless pr***s...

I thought her show was doing really well in the US? That's a shame. She did get some good guests.

I want to see a bigger version of the Pepe Jeans ad to decide if I like it, but thats great for her, and yay am so excited about the vogue cover.. As for the show, I also think it was doing well, but I dont know, well at least she got to interview Edward Norton

i dont agree with her being a bad interviewer- she is a very sarcastic, witty and real one, which is just great in my opinion. she stands out. i dont really get why her show was cancelled neither (if it really is the case)...

I am also selfishly mourning the potential loss of daily Alexa outfits. I always look forward to seeing what she is wearing when I get home from school!

Are we even sure it's canceled?? Well at least we'll get to see her fabulous boyfriend perform on her show with his fellow monkeys... I'm so thrilled and eager to see that!

What about Natalie Portman, Leighton Meester, Alexis Bledel, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Mischa Barton, Jack Black, Michael Cera, Tyra Banks, Emmy Rossum, Vanessa Williams, 50 Cent, Edward Norton, Alicia Keys, Jessica Szohr, Taylor Momsen, Hayley Williams, Shakira, Jared Leto, Adam Lambert etc...? Are some of these guests not A-listers? Even the ones that are not A-listers were guests enough to pull in decent ratings. Also, a lot of these people are not talentless. What were you seriously expecting for an MTV show? International stars like Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt, or prestigious actors like Vanessa Redgrave and Julianne Moore?

Plus she had tween guests such as the Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez and the New Moon cast, which would also bring in the viewers.

Gerard Butler and John Mayer were not the best examples.

Are arctic monkeys going to be on the show?? I'm seeing them on friday!
Can't say I'll miss the actual show, but I'm gonna miss alexa and her clothes

Why is everyone so against Alexa living in the USA?
It seems like everyone on the Alexa Chung thread wants her to go back to England. What's so wrong with her in the USA? It's not like her shows in England were any better. I know Alexa seems a little sad in NYC, and I feel bad that she does. But she kind of did that too herself. She decided to live in the douchiest place in NYC, (williamsburg) and she doesn't even try to make new friends, and when she does go out, it's only to clubs or events she's been invited to, she never really experiences what New York has to offer. People also say that her style changes, and that people prefer her UK style, but the only reason why her uk style is better is because her real stylist is there. He's the one that gets her all the goodies.

How could you possibly know that?

^ hasnt she pretty much said that in interviews? i remember a quote where she said something along the lines of she hasn't made any friends in america cos she doesn't like "douchebags" or something to that effect....

yeah i agree

also personally i like her "old style" better but often i have a hard time remembering she's as old as she is and feel like she dresses too young a lot of the time, and though aesthetically i don't like a lot of her recent looks i like that some of them have been more mature/age appropriate e.g. the red calvin klein dress or the black lover dress with the weird neckline/sleeves. and really a lot of her looks that i like the best aren't anything revolutionary or anything i don't see on the streets of manhattan/williamsburg on any given day so it's nice that every once in a while she has tried different "sexier" things even though i'm not sure they quite work for her all the time

i think her interviews were better in the old format but the new one (probably has something to do with the fact that it's only half an hour now) she cuts off her guests a lot and i feel like i hear more about alexa in her interviews a lot of the time than i do her guests..which is okay if there's a boring guest ha but she's had some really rad A-LIST/interesting guests and from the perspective of a fan of a lot of those people and not as an alexa fan in those situations i wish the interviews had gone in different directions

I agree that she puts way too much of herself in the interviews, but a lot of presenters in the USA do that - it's the cult of personality. It was HER (eponymous) show, after all!

I don't think she'll be rushing back to the UK by any means - she has really started to make her mark on the US fashion world. She could be HUGE as a model at least, and is starting to be already, even at 26 which is pretty ancient in modelling terms.

How could you possibly know that?

She said in her V magazine interview, that she doesn't really know how to make friends here. Alex even in interviews say that he doesn't really bother going out long enough to make new friends.

I miss the Alexa Chung show when it was longer but no matter what she always, always nails it!!!! ^_^

I agree, I love her interviews and I think the show is hilarious. I don't want it to get canceled either. And by the way, does anyone know if that Gap dress is from the current season or old?
