Alexa Chung

I don't know what she would do in the U.K, going back to t4 doesn't seem right and neither does prime time telly. Maybe more advertising campaigns and fashion journalism?
I think she just might go back to t4. I'd be interested to see what impact the move back has on her style, maybe it'll prompt her to be more experimental

As someone in the middle of a journalism degree I would just like to say we could do without any more celebrity "journalists" ;)

She seems to be an okay writer, but I'm sure the sub-editors do 90% of the work.

hahaha, i totally thought that was a recent article (re: quote), but it was from the 14th of january...lol

yay!

I think she'll stick with Ch4 although she'll probably [hopefully] get some more high profile gigs.
Wouldnt be surprised if she turned her hand to acting.
I hope she doens't act  That would ruin her for me.

jeans line? i'll wait until this is confirmed to pass judgement

My friend works for her agent and i heard this from her. I didn't get details but apparently they will be super skinny style (that suit her physique).

i think its a great idea the jeans thing. Find cool jeans is maybe the HARDEST thing ever

I really hope that rumour's not true  She hardly ever wears jeans!
uh... she still has to finish her contract with MTV.
I doubt she'll have to work for the remainder of her contract, it's probably just a technicality. Derek Blasberg (her friend and style.com's new editor-in-chief) has said she's moving back to London.

^I feel like, in the end, she gave up on the show and life in the US more then Mtv gave up on her and her show.
I just saw she's number one on Vogue's best dressed list. Wow, quite something. Girl must feel flaterred.

but why the show was cancelled. i thought she had good ranking

I think it was ultimately MTV's fault. They reduced the 1 hour show to 30 minutes, which meant rushed interviews. They cut out the interactive part of the show, which alot of people loved, because it meant that your tweets might show up throughout the show. They also placed it at the worst time. 2:30. Unless you've got a dvr, it's impossible to watch it. People are still at work, and schools don't usually get out until 3:00-3:50. Some people like to say that she never got any good celebrities, but she had Lady Gaga and Rhianna on her show.

Oh well, she does look happy in the UK. I just wish that she would've given NYC a chance. :(

I'm surprised that is even an option. If she was having a break down and seeing a doctor about exhaustion, different story.
