Alexa Chung

She looks like a pilgrim. All she needs is a bonnet and she could be planting tobacco or corn.

I mean, not everyone needs to wear those glitzy cleavage dresses. With all the resources available to her that's what you wear to the golden globes? There are tons of quirky, edgy gowns that she could have rocked. Or why not go with something short so she could have shown off those mile high legs?

It was true to her style and didn't look like every other prom dress out there. Good for her.

LOl the rpatz interview is hilarious. Poor guy, he looks so confused at the end. I agree with some of the above comments - I think she was just trying to go against the standard by appearing as indifferent as possible, since apparently all girls are supposed to swoon in pattison's presence...came off as more rude then anything else but whatevs.

 Robert's face at the end of the interview. I've never seen Alexa interview someone until now and she's rather amusing, maybe a little unprofessional. I loved it when she was interviewing Natalie Portman (who looked stunning btw ), and Alexa comments on how the LA heat is too much for her since she's from England. Natalie sweetly responds "and you're wearing long sleeves" which Alexa quickly ignores

Alexa tries a little too hard to be nonchalant and cooler than thou....it makes her seem so young-she came across as Justin Bieber's intellectual equal

I'm baffled by the turn her career took, she shouldn't be presenting this things. The only time i've seen her do a good job was at the start in Popworld when her role was bring down a few pegs all the conceited music stars. She's too dry to ever be a good interviewer.

I think her outfit failed in an epic way, it looks like she's wearing some sort of "nighty" .

I agree with you on this -_- This little routine of her is getting tiresome

^I agree I cant stand listening to her anymore, but I do like the Valentino dress :flower:its lovely and suits her well cause shes definitely not a gown kinda girl and looks better covered up.

Wooow. That comment was just totally off. What's with all the hate? Her interviews at the GGs were refreshing compared to that other woman who had a fake, uncomfortable-looking grin plastered on her face the entire time. Alexa talks to celebrities like they are normal, every-day people, and that does not make her unprofessional nor does it mean she has a bad attitude. She is way more relatable than the typical way-too-peppy celebrity interviewers and is probably a hell of a lot less annoying for the celebs there to have to talk to.

i really liked the dress on her, the shoes are pretty but not with this. i had no problems with it not being red-carpet enough, i mean, after all she was only the presenter, that's probably why we haven't got any pics from her, she just wasn't important.
anyways, uhm, i do like her way of presenting because it feels 'real' to me but i dont think she was in place here, she would be perfect to present a festival or something like that

QFT

maybe the celebs look a little shocked because they are so used to constant butt kissing.

Are there still no decent pics of the full outfit?

Oh puh-lease  this has nothing to do with butt kissing just being nice and polite, she often doesn't even listen to people's answers, conspicuously showing that she'd rather be elsewhere/doesn't give a f*ck. I'm not a celeb and in this situation I would tell her to bugger off.
I agree with Les Sucettes, she was OK for Popworld but that is really not her place. That said, I still much prefer her over Ryan Seacrest and whatshername overtanned skinny b*tch.

agreed.

I feel that by watching her GG videos you can see just how difficult it is to present, what with the time constraints and the fact that she either has someone talking to her through an earpiece, or standing right in front of her telling her to rap up. It just seems like her timing is off (for example, when you cut off Robert Patttinson too early, or in other interviews where she runs too long.)

i'm missing something here i really love her presenting and i don't think she is disinterested or anything like that!

There are no pictures of Alexa in her Valentino gown from the Globes, which I find pathetic. I went to the trouble of providing these screencaps from my computer.

Credit to me, and NBC I guess? I hope those credits are sufficient. I screencapped them myself.

I thought Alexa looked lovely, one of my favourite looks from the awards, but I do always love what she wears. I thought she was really cute and I loved her attitude. Her interview with Alec Baldwin was great. He likes younger women so I saw a hell of a lot of chemistry I couldn't help myself:lol:

I really don't get how people are complaining about her rushing interviews? Basically every red carpet interview is rushed.
