^ totally agree with you about the little purse, and i don't really like that whole outfit in the dailymail. however, i do think overalls can sometimes work, but it needs to be kept simple. (keira knightley wears them well sometimes, for example)

ETA--Anyone over the age of 5 should never, ever wear overalls. Her booties are super cute though.

Aoedele, you must seriously consider publishing a book with all these rules. Nobody over 30 should have long hair, nobody over 5 should wear tiny purses...... I think it'd be a fun read.
