Great tailoring worthy of the brand name.
I really like the first look.

I don't even care about the tailoring, I don't like the outfits themselves.
She always has to ruin everything with those stupid, g*ddamn prints.
the prints this season are particularly awful...
regardless of the suiting, the separates (knits, tees, etc..) that end up in stores will be stunning if this is any indication. i'm glad she's gone a bit edgier with the menswear, as the past few seasons haven't had that "mcqueen" feel to them.
I actually love the print..i think she's capturing something super nostalgic about the strict tailoring and the modern prints.
Those 2 Jackets are amazingg, red and black and the red. That graphic printed pinstripe suit. Love.
The prints are fine to me, but i want something a little but more contemporary with each look. She sure possesses strong tailor skill which really show in this collection.
I like most of the pieces, not that I would wear them, but I just appreciate them!
I would've loved if Sarah played more with the prints. Those were the best pieces, along with the patchwork, red blazer towards the end, imo.
Sarah is definitely a very skilled tailor-- or at least has the eye for sharp cuts. Wished she applied these skills to the womenswear instead of just over-embellishing a basic dress-from to death with anything and everything.
Even McQueen the man was never quite a visionary when it came to his menswear the way he was with his womenswear. So I can definitely cut Sarah some slack here. It's just all so samo samo when it comes to the menswear; some extreme sartorial pieces that are grounded in traditional Savile Row is all too familiar when it comes to McQueen menswear. I don't think the silhouette is flattering at all-- it's too feminine, maybe it's partly due to the casting and styling. And those pagoda-shoulders are really terrible and would fit better in Blade Runner than on a real person.
On a positive note, she's made that cardinal-red the McQueen menswear signature. I like that.
