The shirts are nice, so are the sweaters. Pretty much everything is good, except maybe the jeans, which are too usual. I was looking forward to seeing that embroidered coat, but they didn't have it

Luxury clothing and accessories company, Gucci Group NV, has reported the appointment of Jonathon Akeroyd as president and chief executive officer of the Alexander McQueen sector.

Akeroyd, who will take up his post on 1 September, moves to McQueen from Harrods, where he has been for the past 15 years.

He will be taking over the role previously performed by Sue Whiteley, who ran McQueen for the last two and a half years
