    HI ALL :flower:

Does anyone have any photos to post of this collection ?

There are 3 super ones on FASHION WIRE DAILY , but I spent over an hour trying to post them here , but to no avail !

I think that they must be encoded for copyright reasons . There is also a good review of the showroom presentation , by Geoffrey Deeny , along with the photos. The whole collection would seem to be absolutely superlative !!!

    Yours , in frustration , KIT :(

    PS :flower:

As FWD articles seem to be syndicated to sites like Fashionwindows ( to which I do not have access ) , perhaps the photos and review will ultimately appear there . However , I have a feeling that the same encoding and copyright issue will apply on that site . :(

Anyway , yours in hope , KIT :innocent:

All I can say is,his tailoring is far better than what I've seen thus far in Milan. Sharper and crisper. Precise in cutting and slimmer shilouettes,it looks much more elegant to me. This kind of tailoring is what I love. And frankly,I would love to have at least the jacket in the first photo...possibly the frock coat.

    Just a thought :innocent:

Does anyone remember the hasidic jewish collection that Jean-Paul Gaultier did in the late80s/early90s ?

    Are there any comparisons ?

    People, people...

    Beautifully tailored?

Just look at the shoulder/arm joint on these jackets... Makes me want to hide. :ninja:

Looks just as bad in other pics as well...

Also, why is the waist "draped" inwards instead of just tapering?

Just to clarify, I don't mean the actual shoulder seam, but rather how the shoulder/arm looks... It should be perfectly seamless and elegant.

Its called experimenting with the shape of shoulder. Notice that it slopes. This is why the high point of the shoulder looks pokey or as if its attatched to the sleeve itself. This is not "traditional" tailoring as in-everyday normal tailoring-traditional. That's actually one detail that I found most attractive in those pieces. And the inverted drape,as you call it,for me,gives off the impression of elongation--it also makes men look slimmer.
