Alexander Wang drops new campaign that doesn’t feature any models
So he wants to be perceived as an artsy Helmut Lang wannabe this season?
Both Paco Rabanne & Courreges did a 'no models' campaign a few years ago that were much better (imo anyways).
Next season, he needs to destroy the clothes and make a sculpture out of it...
Courreges did i better recently.
Helmut Lang rip off.
So do the models with their names attached to this campaign get paid?
I like Alex but this is seriously embarrassing.....pure rip-off
Helmut Lang rip-off to the tee...but I was so excited to see Albert Watson's name; only for him to have shot these . Disrespectful in the highest when you think of some of the photographers shooting major fashion campaigns these days!
My thoughts exactly. I love Watson, but this is so disappointing.
The Alexander Wang 'Do Something' campaign was also a Helmut Lang rip-off and the T by Alexander Wang ads, so it's nothing new for this season really.
I can just about take the concept. But the quotes are beyond cringeworthy. 'Drank wine, smoked weed in the Bahamas'..'No idea what time I left'..What do you want, a medal?
This brand is pretty much a parody of itself these days.
Somewhere a model is crying.
The glory days of this brand are long gone
The fact that he even did a feather crown is further proof of his total lack of shame, Helmut pieces had the strength for this type of gimmicks but Alexander's clothes are nothing but sad rags.
I think they didn’t make any money from the collection which was over 1 hour late from stated show time. The clothes didn’t save the waiting time. I vowed to never watch his show live stream again. It was $hit with a capital S.
I love the concept. Very creative and unique. The graphic design and the typography are great. Flawless campaign. Don't hate what you don't understand.
Don’t praise somehing if you don’t understand it’s a rip-off.
No one gets a patent for showing no models in a campaign. Get used, it won't be the last campaign with this concept that you are going to see. Bye, bye.
